About the Restaurant
The Pepper Mill Steak and Pasta House came to be in January of 1999 when Greg and Lisa Turner combined their talents to open their own restaurant. The result? A relaxed, comfortable and casual dining experience known for upscale cuisine at affordable prices and an atmosphere which is both family friendly and intimate enough for special occasion dining.
The kitchen is run by Greg, while Lisa manages the front of the house and heads up plating and expediting during peak dinner service. Together the Turners continually strive for excellence in the dining experience and take pride in sharing these experiences with you.
Special Occasion Dining
The Pepper Mill is a large 100 plus seat restaurant that regularly hosts events of up to sixty diners. We cater to birthdays, anniversaries, and special events, offering custom menus, or buffet settings depending upon needs and numbers.
Seasonality
The Pepper Mill is located in the middle of the beautiful Haliburton Highlands, which is directly east of the Muskokas and right in the heart of cottage country. The summer is the high season where we offer expanded hours of operation and entertainment.
Every Thursday night in July and August we present Yuk Yuk's on tour stand up comedy where with a dinner reservation and a modest per person fee, you can enjoy a great meal and keep your seats for an evening of laughter and fun.
